Free call services on any network for BSNL landline subscribers


Shimla: To expand its landline services in the state, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has announced free calls services.

BSNL, Shimla circle General Manager M C Singh said here on Monday that the BSNL customers can avail free local and STD call services from their landline phones between 9.00 pm to 7 am.

He disclosed that BSNL has a landline customer base of One lakh in the state and in Shimla circle there are around 35,000 customers who will also be able to avail these services.

This free service will be made available to any mobile and landline network, he added. The service will start from May 1 and bookings are available for new connection said Singh. This is for the first time that the BSNL is gone ahead with such an initiative to expand its landline services, added he.
